We recently took a trip to the Oregon Coast. Getting down to the water usually involves hiking down (then back up!) steep, rocky trails. My kids wore their Oskars the whole time, and they worked wonderfully! They are perfect summer shoes- light and airy but rugged and functional. They worked well on the beach and washed up beautifully with a quick spray from the garden hose. I set them out in the sun to dry, and they were ready to go again!
My son has worn his all summer. He actually started wearing them in the spring with socks when the weather was cooler. Because they are so versatile, they make a great transition shoe- spring to summer and summer to fall. A perfect back-to- school shoe!!
